Kamalhassan had again used prosthetics to play 8 out of the 10 different characters in Dashavatharam a tamil movie. The avatars were An old lady, A bumbling south indian police officer, a sardarjee, a 7 footer pathan, a dark skinned social activist, President Bush, a japanese Kungfu master and a rogue ex CIA official!!

Frankly speaking, he looked absolutely lousy in all of them - Not a single one gave the feeling of autheticity that Kamal's previous avatars managed.
Even otherwise, I have a lot of praise for Rajni, Chiru, Mohan Lal and Mamoothy. Kamal somehow seemed always glorified, specifically after K.Viswanath's movies with him. Most of these were thanks largely to K.Viswanath's genius than Kamal.
Watching Kamal along with Rajni or Chiru in the few movies that they starred together marks him substandard to them.

Kamalhaasan - sounding substandard to Chiru,Rajini.Well that is the joke of the millenium.I should pity ur knowledge on the film industry buddy. Please refresh your knowledge and do not write such laughable things.Chiru or Rajin cannot even dream of doing characters what Kamal did in just an year or two year's time. They are good but not even a fraction of the versatility of Kamal.Please do not write such crazy things.

kamal hassan is a good actor, but not as great as naseerudin shah, nana patekar or sanjeev kumar. he is a baccha compared to them.

All of them are good actors agreed.Kamal Haasan is certainly an edge above whomever you have mentioned.4 national awards,175 career awards.Apart from that,he acted in a silent movie,as a dwarf and so on and so forth.There are lot of such differentiators which puts Kamal Haasan puts him on the top of the pedestal.So there is no point comparing Nana or Naseeruddin Shah with Kamal.Kamal is the most complete and versatile actor in India.

Mention also must be about makeup kamal used in the movie NAYAGAN...as he grows older, makeup & body language makes him look older.
In this pic PC doesn't seem to look like 65 old, the young skin is still visible , well for both of them. Acting as old is not that easy for which u need to put hours of make-up and loads of solutions on ur face... well for actress like PC,
these girls dont even wash face with normal water they need mineral water. then how can they take up risky old kind of make ups! like wat kamal took in Hindustani movie as a old man..was the actual makeup!
These two looks like kids for a fancy dress comptn !!!!!!
