radhamohan, a tamil director made both tamil and telugu movies..a telugu actor nagarjuna acted in both telugu and tamil movie..the story originates in chennai not in hyderabad.

ask your tamil version producer Prakash raj how the movie started ...he will tell you... also check where the most part of the movie was shot...it is in Hyderabad...

Thanks for your showcasing your knowledging..thank God they didn't go to Kashmir to take the movie..otherwise you will call it a Kashmiri movie..Lols. Also, plz understand the "Set" for this movie was constructed in Hyd, but it doesnt mean it is a Telugu movie. By the way, I dont mind if it is a Telugu/Malayalam/Tamil movie, only thing is that it shd be a good movie. I am just countering ur thoughts.
This is Akshay's best movie until now. In some angles, we see Akshay as magnanimous as Amitabh and then Rishi Kapoor and Akshay relation is too fantastically portrayed.
It was running housefull. The jokes were subtle and screenplay was absolutely well flawless. Editing, screen cuts and frames.
Akshay's performance is award winning and he connects well the audiences who go through this daily. Anushka has acted better than all her earlier movies. She was fantastic. Akshay has proved that he is a versatile and very natural actor and thorough professional. He just needs good scripts and directors.
Overall this movie is a 4.5 Star movie! Total entertainment

See the below news release for the movie..u have proved your ignorance..dont make shame of telugu people..know before commenting.. 'Payanam' is a bi-lingual thriller which is being shot in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. The Telugu version has been titled 'Gaganam'. Big news he revealed is that Nagarjuna will himself dub for the Tamil version also.

Telugu is not original. This is a bilingual movie. SO every seen would have been shot twice for Tamil and Telugu.
