You guys are a limit!!! You compare expressive eyes between Silk Smitha and Viday Balan!!! On the contrary it will be tough for an expressive Vidya to play such a non expressive wooden faced Silk Smitha.

Wow!! You mean South India doesn't have any w.h.o.r.e.s. !!! I thought that there a ton of 'em. Maybe they are not as ugly looking as Silk Smitha.
The makers of this movie have used a provocative title like 'Dirty Picture' and going about declaring that it's on the life of the late (Silk) Smita, and the director is going about giving all sorts of interviews as if she was a porn star and the stupid media is lapping it up. In a way, she was no different from the likes of Helen, who became famous playing the seductress, the cabarret dancer and vamp. Smita in her prolific albeit short career has acted in many character roles as well. Just because she is not alive, and there's no one to defend or file a lawsuit, film makers are going about declaring it's a true story! How sad!

Helen and Silk Smitha had a big difference. Helen knew how to act and did some pretty darn good movies. She was not a mere leg thumping bod like Silk Smitha. And of course Helen's face and physique was thousand times better than Silk Smitha (pillar like legs and an ouch!!! face)
