It was not because one movie went hit, they want to make another one on the same lines. Its just that the novel was big for 1 movie, hence broken into two movies.

Right it can't be considered as sequels like the other movie franchises. There are other movie makers who keep on making sequels if one movie does well like the Saw, Halloween, Friday the 13th and others. They are good till 2-3 sequels. But afterwards they become repetitive. But Potter novels are different. Bcoz the stories are not repetitive and all the stories are connected and the main points are revealed part by part in the series.

Since they've a valid literature storyline to back them up and I'm sure Guy Ritchie will come up with another potrayal of middle class London....Rest of them look like a cool American guest who overstayed his visa tenure.....
And how does Michael Bay expects Transformers to be succeed without Megan Fox in the cast???? It's like havin Terminator without Arnold or Rocky without Stallone....
