Kamal know about rajini's past life and his talent. But Kamal is a cheap guy these thing know few only, he picked mohan's opportunities. Otherwise right now mohan is a good star.
If silly gimmicks make up movies, then Rajani can be a superstar that too for half retarded Rajani Fans. Rajani movies rely on idiotic gimmicks / Stunts, silly mannerism and so called style (or lack of it) which appeal to large section of Tamilians. If Tamils needs him as a super hero or demi god (that shows intellectual level of Rajni fans), let it be, but that does not portray him a global superstar. He might be good human being but not great actor.
Seriously Rajani fans, do u believe this gimmicks will be accepted by anyone outside Tamil Nadu. Mayhem, fights for tickets., pouring milk over Rajani Cutouts symbolizes Rajani Movies release. This explains all, it the low intellectual level of Rajni fans that makes him the so called Superstar than any real talent.

And how many intellectual movies have u watched my friend? r u talking about bollywood movies? don't even get started. Movies are meant to entertain and Rajni does it with all sincerity. if u think it appeals to only Tamils (probably u meant south indians) then i pity ur intellectual level.

The so called facts that u said about Rajnikanth may be ur individual statement. that doesn't get reflected as a mass statement.... Rajnikanth is the most consistent actor in India even globally.never heard of any actor giving hit movies over the past 30 years. u mention about Rajni's gimmicks / Stunts, silly mannerism and so called style (or lack of it) which appeal to large section of Tamilians. well im not a tamilian. i watch Tamil, Hindi n english movies... i have never seen any movie getting so much rage N craze as Rajnikanth's movie does. Rajni is no more a regional actor , he is a global star. Hindi is spoken by large section of people in india. so its natural that Hindi movies do well.rajni movies rely only on regional audience but the revenue a rajni movie generates hindi movies haven't. Films like My Name is Khan ( investment - 100 crore, revenue - 117 crore.Profit = 17 crores ) and Ra.one( investment -162, i fear if it ws able to collect even half of the amount ) crore were huge box failures despite having watched by people nationwide.whereas Rajnikanth's Shivaji,The Boss ( investment - 40 crore, revenue - 132 crore. Profit = 92 crore 0, ROBOT ( investment 100 crore , revenue - 210 crores, profit = 60 crores minimum ). A large section of profit was generated in north circles especially chandigargh, delhi.get your facts right b4 questioning the intellectuality of other people. being a north indian myself i still support my fellow tamil friends.

Rajani has the X factor that is what makes him a great actor. He might not be half as good as Kamala Hassan but who cares he has mass appeal and choses roles that his fans can relate to. It is simple if you are his fan you will like him.
How can u guys not mention one of the most successful pairing of Rajni-sridevi in ur preface. And madhuri dixit was never paired opp him for ur kind info rediff !! Stop being partial guys !!

yes..age not matters for rajni.. when aish willl have any girl baby in future and she will be of 18 then also i can predict she will cast opposite 90 years old rajni playing the role of 18 years guy in film.. using all cosmetcis.. wigs.. duplicates to perform action..dance and even walking in place of him..and that movie will also be blcokbuster ( i can predict 30 years before also)

it all started from North Heroes to wear wigs, facials etc., and he is following it at 60 plus years unlike bolly heroes who do it when they are 20s and 30s only. so no harm done you dude intelligent

saif khan would make a good co-star with rajni...they would make a beautiful couple...even kareena would feel insecure seeing them on the big screen! lolz
I watch Rajaini's film only for RAJINI, so it doesnt matter whoever is the heroine, these all sex bombs required only to save chacolate heroes of bollywood!!
