She is a great singer, undoubtedly pride of India. But at the same time she has been the most bulldozing being dictating music directors whom they should sing and whom not! And she does not mind to tell a lie if it suits her so!

Wish merrit could prevail in these awards. Kajol did not deserve the best actress award ahead of Vidya Balan for Ishqia or Anushka for BBB. Karan Johar undoubtedly managed it for her!
these awards are rightly titled as film'fare', coz now they are reduced to a mela only, a mela where u can buy awards, cheap publicity... u can see people dancing for awards, making fun like monkeys in the mela, and what not.
Lataji is upset for the right reason, but we as public are upset and also feel cheated while watching these awards... this time they took the cheapness to a different level... guess the people who were to announce the awards were not given proper training, so they would announce the awardee before even opening the envelope... within a few years these awards are going to be openly auctioned
Ban all awards both govt and private for ever in India. They all seem to be biased in favor of one or the another party or member/individual, lot of influences are there. So it serves no purpose, Those who get it praise in tweets and blogs, those who are denied go to depression.
It seems a custom of only awarding the famous and mighty. The jury seems so much influenced by SRK and his gang; that a very mediocre performance in MNIK should deserve a award. He as the protagonist felt so unfit for the role; really pathetic.

Filmfare has always been pro-Shahrukh Khan and A.R. Rahman. In 1995, in spite of delivering a superlative performance in Rangeela, Filmfare chose to ignore Aamir Khan and instead gave the award to Shahrukh Khan, while despite a mediocre music score, A.R. Rahman bagged the award. I thought Jatin Lalit deserved the award for their chartbusters in DDLJ
MNIK & dabang can be rated as medicre movies without substance & also in a way reflects on our current value sytem.MNIK tried to justify fundamentalism & Dabang was nothing but a cheap crap dished out for sex starved country. SRK & Sallu are the favorites of this group. They are artists who should get recognition for work *& not on the basis of what religion they follow.

F0 ... Mr. Assoo ... your category of people crib about anything and everything in life.
This is not surprising from a film magazine belonging to a company whose flag bearer 'newspaper' is TOIlet paper. Look at their daily papers, magazines and tv channels and u will know the moral degradation that people and management in this group have stooped to. And dont worry, 'Youngi' stan will support them. So they give a hoot about you if argue about their way of journalism.
