No, if SUN pictures buy this movie and play the sogns every 10 mins on SUN TV, the songs will be a super hit. This is the sad state of people's taste these days.
Although Ilayaraja is a great music director, has done a lot of below average stuff even in the 80's when he was at his peak. Also he has spoiled many of his songs by singing himself with his terrible nasal voice and most of the times in off-key which he never tolerates in the case of other singers.

well said buddy! IIlayaraja has given memorable melodies in 80s no second thought abt that, i am telling this though i am not a tamilian hence i am not fanatic. But he has given equally bad and many below average songs. only 30% of his compositions are gr8... not just gr8 they are masterpiece!! but the rest 70% are trash... this comes as no surprise coz he had signed every other film to do music so too much at the same time took the toll on him and obviously trash was dished regularly and a masterpiece song here n there... no doubt he is gr8 but i meant to say is coz of too many films in hand he couldnt come out outstanding everytime

Luckily in south we have fair skinned...gay type beggars who become bollywood heros. We give them alms, sometimes small roles in our films and they go and become big based on all our remakes....
