2011 was a very good year for Kannada. More than 125 movies were produced. Success percentage went up when compared to 2010. Sarathy, Vishnuvardhana & Hudugru were blockbusters. Kempegowda, Paramatma, Sanju Weds Geetha, Rajadhani, Kirataka, Lifu Istene, Kalla Malla Sulla, Krishnan Marriage Story, Jonny, Jarasanda, Jogayya, Shailu, Olave Mandara were successful. 2012 looks promising. Best of Luck for all Kannada Movies.

I am sorry about my ignorance of kannada movie industry. All i knew of kannadigas was that they quarrel with maharashtra and do some tribal dance
I dont understand why ppl are so jealous of kannada cinema and they have to show their hatred...we dont go around bad mouthing others so my sincere request if you are out to show ur hatred please go somewhere else...live and let live...
