More than VKP, the credit goes to Anoop menon who scripted it..good movie...as paresh told climax cud have been a little better nevertheless good watch...and yeah brilliant performance by Jayasurya..and for the folks who keeps on telling about the movie been remade and all those stuff...it take much effort,sincerity and talent to make a good movie even though its a remake..otherwise it will b like any other flop movies which release these days...

no he'd given 3.5 stars for 3 films like pazhassi raja,paleri manikyam and pranchiettan and the saint and also 4 stars for udayananu tharam.

i did understand that the first time u r seeing him giving more than 3 stars.But for your information only i told about other movies with more than 3 stars otherwise you'll think wrong bcoz of u not seeing it.Cheers
Beautiful is a beautiful film.Excellent reports are coming from every media.This low budget movie is a big hit.Theatre response is excellent.Veiwvers are clapping at the end of the movie.Really superb film,This is not a copy of pranayam,guzzrish or any other hollywood film.Brillinart script and Vk prakash's funtastic direction.This is VKP's best movie till today.In eranakulam padama theatre all shows are good status.the number of shows in q cinema are increased.This is one of the best movie of 2011 like Traffic,salt n pepper,indian rupee,pranayam
Now shameless copycats like Satish Kaushik will get the pirated DVD of this movie, and copy (unofficially remake) it in Hindi, by adding all sorts of rubbish masala.
To top it all, as usual he would credit himself to the story, screenplay and direction.
And our Rediff reviewers like Sukanya Varma and Raja Sen will call it Satish-ji's 'most accomplished work' after Tere Naam!

That was an official remake... There is an Interview with anoop where he describes how he struggled to retrofit some scenes from the movie (Butterfly on a wheel) to malayalam.

Ratan - Tere Naam was such a disastrous copy of Sethu.. I saw a few scenes and was so dejected at the way a six pack Salman khan was showcasing the role so painstakingly potrayed by Vikram..disgrace to the efforts of Vikram and Bala's stupendous direction..
