Symbol of positivity and passion
by harshavardhan bhusari on Dec 05, 2011 12:16 PM

Dev Anand will always be remembered for his on screen charisma and his evergreen image. However, the two qualities which stand out in him were the postive approach and passion towards his profession. Truly inspired by the way he always had this positive approach for making films and the passion with which he worked on the new innovative subjects. May his soul rest in peace...

some ppl r just born lucky. they do the dumbest stupidest and idiotic things yet continue to be respected by one all. Incase of dev anand he made lots of bad movies which no one bothered to saw yet even today he continues to be respected. could be that most ppl just remember the early years of him whene he made good movies and just collectively chose to ignore all of the nonsense he made in his later years.

Dev Anand was incomparable
by kaushik chatterjee on Dec 04, 2011 09:39 PM

Dev Anand was incomparable, a titan of the film industry. Of all the actors of his era, he was the most stylish. He had style, urbanism. Rest in Peace. We will certainly miss the man singing "Mana Janab ne Pukara nahin", the Jewel Thief.

The final curtain drops, signaling the end of a golden era of Indian movies.
Dev the last person standing is gone, with him has gone a great Actor,Director and Producer, A brilliant Husband and Father.
There wasn't a Dev before him and there never will be another Dev after him. The chapter is closed. The last finally has been sung.
legends like Dev sahib were not there because of Indian film Industry but was opposite, Film Industry was there because of legends like Dev Sahib.
May his soul rest in peace, and give his family strength to accept the lords will.
My condolences to the Family,Friends and Fans.
RIP Dev Sahib.
