Recently Dhanush had visited Bangalore for Ramya's birthday(Divya spandana) and spoke few words in kannada and openly announced with proud that his wife is a kannadathi(kannada girl).

When he goes to Tamil Nadu, he claims his wife is Tamil woman, when he goes to Mumbai, he says his wife is originally Marathi

So to sum it up, his wife is Indian
