multi stories in single cinema is quiet possible(Life in a metro, Mumbai Meri Jaan, common among these two films are Mumbai city)similarly a movie with multiple stories and Malgudi as a backdrop is a nice experiment(infact benegal tried this with welcome to sajjanpur).

CID lacks realistic situations, it looks more like well poshed CID away from actual situations, a real hardcore CID movie will do great, but current serial lacks the charisma, its all so bogus.
Mr. Raja Sen, that was a good one. Long before Captain Vyom came on air, there was a Star-Trek inspired serial called Sigma, which was superior than Captain Vyom. In fact, mega serials Hum Log and Buniyad can be made into great movies by a good director.
