Sandhya, Jayapradha, Meenakshi Sheshadri & Birju Maharaj were really good and classical dancers.
In no particular order - the list for males would include:
1. Hrithik Roshan - complete package, agile, fluid moves, good looking and very hardworking. 2. Prabhudeva - he lives dance and choreography, a special talent. 3. Mithun Chakraborty - the original disco dancer. 4. Kishor Kumar - don't know if anyone could have planned his steps! 5. Govinda - Absolute natural! Despite his portly frame he just loves dancing and it shows 6. Kamal Hassan - trained in bharatnatyam he could pretty much dance anything, even on stilts! 7. Jaaved Jaffery - never made it as an actor but Boogie Woogie was enough proof, if ever needed what breakdancing talent we lost out on. 8. Shammi Kapoor - if anyone could dance to "Aaja Aaja" he deserves to be here. 9. Akshay Kumar/ Shahrukh Khan - both of these men are not conventionally good dancers, but they are very energetic performers who can set the stage afire.
This is absolutely not ranked and there are others in regional film industry like Vijay (tamil), NTR jr and Allu Arjun (Telugu) etc. who are very good, but I think above people are pretty exceptional.
