A promising actor

If a director like Sibi Malayil has cast him for 3 continuous films...it shows that he is a promising actor...his body flexibility can be seen in the film Traffic...also his skills in comedy scenes were seen in Salt n Pepper..soon he can be seen in action films too..as Manorama commented he has driven a straight drive into the Mal film industry having lot of Traffic blocks !

SUPERSTARDOM
by anuraj sampath on Aug 07, 2011 12:01 PM

Malayalam cinema field never promotes newcomers. The industry mafia of the so called superstars are ruling. As long as they rule its tough for the oung breed to come out well. I dont deny the high talents of the superstars who made malayalam movies global. But then, they should give atleast small way to the new genre. Only exception is prithviraj who came out with much media hype and support. Though he have done well, his arrogance to some extent lets him down. Where is Narain now? He's also one of the victims of Industry mafia. We should not close our eyes, these are all "Apriya Sathyangal'. Anyway Asif ali all the best.. Wish you all success.

Doesn't have the personality to make it Big

Well this guy is a good actor...no doubt...but he can only be a good supporting actor. He really does not have the personality to stand up in front of the Superstars of Malayalam cinema and be counted for..!!!

What makes you think that he cannot act? He has done villain roles (Rithu, Apoorvaragam), comic role(Salt n Pepper), serious role (Ithu Nammude Katha, Traffic) and romantic role (Violin). Doesn't the fact that all these have been appreciated show his versatality? Compare him with the 'young superstar' Prithviraj and you will know that he has more potential than Prithviraj who keeps repeating the same angry young man roles. He is much more promising than any other young actor at the moment be it Jayasurya, Prithviraj, Indrajith or Kunchako Boban... no doubt about it. Learn to appreciate someone who has not even done 10 films, but still showing so much talent...
