It is incorrect. Tamilians love the human Rajini regardless of whether he is Marathi or not.

hahaha. He is neither a tamil nor a marathi. He hails from Karnataka, and his real name is shivaji rao gaikwad.

yes. gaikwad is a marathi surname. But he is born and brougt up in banglore, his ancestors too were from k'nataka. Thus it is wrong to claim him as a marathi. It is karnataka and tamil nadu, which has given him butter and bread, name, fame, wealth, and fortune. Unlike people in mumbai, where you want to throw outsiders. The people of these two state never did or speak anything like that. Learn from them first

his ancestors were from nachiapuram in dharmapuri district salem tamil nadu. this village is mentioned in the movie sivaju during rajini and shreya's betrothal.
