This article again illustrates Indian media's inexplicable fascination with Western acknowledgement!

Why do these morons in Indian media need any kind of validation from the West they can get?

Are we, all by ourselves, not good enough to know that we are on par with the rest of the world?

Next thing we know, some loser Indian journalist will be chronicling the pursuit of some westerner seeking a toilet he or she saw in some movie or documentary about India!

How Pathetic!

Apu's Room
by prodeep ghosh on Aug 04, 2011 02:55 PM

Apu's room is next to Tallah bridge in north Calcutta. The bridge straddles the railway tracks along which a poetic Apu recites some of his verses. Am not sure if that specifc house - and by default - the room exists, but being an one time resident of that neighbourhood I can pretty much pinpoint where it is.
