north people are the most racist people in the world, always targeting the socially advanced parts of the society. Proud to be a pure Dravidian!!

whether its south or north, from time immorial, heros never looked handsome, except a very few. Of late it has become fashion for men to look attractive and sexy (which words are reserved only for feminine look). In yester year films, they had story, good lyrics supported by harmonic music which fused with the situation and both the hero and heroine became part of the situation and the audience never thought for that moment that, they were actors.
Now, nothing is left in a film. So show your body to the maximum and earn the status and falsely enjoy your life.

if you see Tamil movie leading Artists (except heroines), technicians...most of them are not from chennai, they are from small towns and villages of TN. They come with genuine son of the soil flavor to the cine industry. You may say, whats the big deal. Hmmm, if you look at Chennai and rest of TN, Chennai is accessible to rest of TN people. Karnataka has lots of talent, away from Bangalore. But for them, Bangalore is not reachable, where the film industry is located. My recommendation would be, shift the Film industry from Bangalore to center place of Karnataka. Artists when they have talent but not yet marketed, would normally from very poor background. such people can not stay in Bangalore till they get an opportunity in Bangalore. the divide between Bangalore and rest of Karnataka is huge. building strong, base is weak.

Bad State? You mean what state you can expect from your view?.You are correct that Bangalore, being a border city to TN and AP and is easily accessible for the ppl of these states rather than the rest of the ppl of Karnataka.FYI kannada Plays (dramas) run for 100 to 200 shows in North Karnataka region than any kannada films. Also kannada ppl are not too much movie crazy one like other languages. One can see the actor's cut out culture only in Bangalore city and not in other parts of karnataka.

accessible is not just travel, that i am referring to. a non-bangalorean kannadiga will find it very difficult to survive in bangalore till he gets the opportunity in film industry. he will remain as spectator and by seeing bangalore, he will be filled with so much inferiority complex in the society.

Mr. Obama, a person without god father is very difficult to survive in any film industry for that matter.I think you are wrong in other way. Great directors like Girish kasaravalli, Nagathi halli chandrasjekar and Late shankar Nag are not from Bangalore. Some popular heroes in the present like Diganth, Ajay Rao and vijay are not from Bangalore.Ofcourse at the end luck will play a big role.

Couple of things
by Leader on Apr 23, 2011 12:55 AM  | Hide replies

1. It is a Kannada movie ....and no where in the review it says that!

2. "next he looses his mobile and wallet."

Loose - opposite of tight or contained.

Lose - to suffer the loss of, to miss.

Review - Kannada Movis
by mallikarjuna appinakatte on Apr 22, 2011 08:55 PM  | Hide replies

Watched it today. It could have been cut short by 30 mnins at least. I dont know what the f**k the directors think. Why cant they make use of an oppurtunity and make name for themselves.

I have heard a lot abt actors/producers saying that they liked the one line narated by their director/story writer. Hell and there wil one only line story and they cant write a screenplay around it. They will keep the one line story till the last and there will be nothing in the first half.

Crap!!! And bl**dy Sudip says that he treats Remakes as his mother and dont like to listen anybody saying bad abt them. F**k off yaar if you dont have creativity. And he is not alone there is Ravichandran(great), Darshan, Shivrajkumar all making remakes. They also say that it is not easy to remake and it is difficult to make them. Buggers who asked you to remake?

And we kannada people watch movies if it is really worth and good.

We know how much it is embrassing when outsiders coment abt our films and the way they are made...aahhhhh

if you look at him closely he is very pathetic. His mother's arrogance nature still sticks to his chin. He looks aged due to bad habbits. His younger brother Pueet is ok, for the time being though his voice is horrible.

Remakes are indeed welcome by audience if it has substance.

If an outsider makes such comments after watching kannada movies, the industry should take it seriously. But if they make sweeping comments just like that, ask that outsider to shut the f up. But I really miss the great kannada movies like Accident, Beladingala Bale, Gandhada gudi etc. Where did those kind of great film makers vanish?

most of Raj movies were classic and family watchable. The films had substance and message to the audience at large. If I remember right, in none of his movies he either smoked or drank liquor or chewed pan as he was very particular it will have a great impact on the people. Ofcourse in many of his films his lead pair heroines were scantly clad but he never took advantage like Shankar Nag and over stepped the required decency.
Raj is indeed great and his movies watchable at any given time. It had morale. Though I am not film crazy, I have watched his movies in TV channels.
