A dig at state level politics with a young third front... and the media as the pivot..... basically a Political thriller.... Previously, we have seen Political Drama unfolding from a Common man's or a Policeman's or a Party's point of view..... Ko is the same drama from a Media House's point of view..... Many areas are like practical lessons for a Journalism student.... Jiiva is an immensely talented actor, and puts in a laudable effort in the movie.......... but would have loved to see a better script......... He deserves and can do justice to a more demanding role..... Ajmal does a neat job and really impresses in the climax..... Exciting to see such an young CM and much agony at the anti-climax..... too good to be true.... huh...... considering current scenario in TN..... Both the Ladies have space to improve on the Performance scale.... though both look good....
Song picturisations and locations are trademark KV Anand........ He has tried a different genre but carries over his Assets & Liabilities from Ayan........... be it the songs, the dialogues, suspense, friendship n betrayal........... but the sleek n stylish chase sequence we saw at the start in Ayan is missing here....... though the Jiiva bike acrobatics can be a consolation.........

Ko is a very thrilling movie to see with many twists and what next expectations. But, I got irritated when the hero and heroine went to himalays to sung a song after they knew that their friend was killed by somebody. Anyway the climax is justified. what director portrays is acceptable and logical.
Im sorry, may be Im against the reviewer and the fans here. But I found the movie had a lot of loopholes and nothing new to offer. The climax especially where the CM goes for a dialogue with the Naxals and the reporter is ridiculous!!!!!
After (Ayan) two years, this is the second time I went to the theatre (first one was Endiran), Ko hasn't disappointed me with my expectation, but I would have highly enjoyed if the final 10 min scene could be different. Instead deleting the climax news, if they could have published then the real culprit could shown to the public and that way the picture will potray the purpose of the movie!!!
Only 3 songs were good unlike Ayan!! Love song after the tragedy is not at required in the pict!! Overall I am really seeing the future TN or India in this movie!!

The climax of this movie corresponds to that of Dark knight...in dark knight,batman will instruct gordon not to reveal that Harvey dent killed cops,because Harvey meant the future of gotham as he tried to bring d mafia to d law...if people knew he too became a vigilante,they would lose their faith in the law..
similarly,if the people knew that d student leader they'd elected was actually a naxal plant..thy'd lose their faith in young leaders and will go back to vote d same corrupt parties from which they wanted freedom... I felt that d climax was justified...U make a dead bad man as a good man to save a state from being exploited from d normal political parties
