Same like gandi's. Motilal nehru too had blackmailed the kangress leaders at that time by saying that if you make any other PM than my son, I will not finance you.

This is plain jane pathetic of our film industry. 1000 songs and no royalty c'mon now. I m sure the person she mentioned was lata mangeshkar of playing politics. Sick and disgusting. Rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.

Conventionally, in Bollywood, singers don't get royalty. The song belongs to the producers. In fact, it was Lata who tried to change this convention and demand that singers get royalty. And ironically it was Mohd Rafi who opposed her view and said that singers don't need to get royalty.
