I could not see the Bengali version and the Hindi version of KL Saiigal version .I have seen the trash in the later Hindi version in aTV .It is super trash. For those who are really care for art - see the Telugu version with ANR as lead - besides the acting ,the Direction and lyrics and songs are out of this world later on the same were produced in Telugu also they were super super trash .

I had privilege to see KL Saigals Devdas and Dilip Kumars Devdas. Both were true to the Novel and wre e told as they should have. But the Sharukh Khan and This Ashwaria Rai one was just a big farce. It was no where near to the first two and no where near to what Sharat Chander wrote. OK in film making there has to be some compromise but the third one was nothing but a soft porn.

No friend - just have a look .It is one of the best for acting ,Direction ,Lyrics and songs .Yes later on it was made in Telugu which was a trash with two pence actor incidentally this two pence guy has acted in few hundred movies -s o you can understand what torture it is to Telugu people. The SRK was also a super trash except for two most neautiful ladies .
