Now come out of fools paradise that illayaraja was the teacher of AR Rahman .. he just worked for him like he worked with other cmoposers .... no one had stopped illayaraja to become world famous... if rahman has become the one then no need to make unnecessary comparisons and pull his legs ... on becoming his muslim - it was his peronsla choice - i wont comment on that.. there are many muslims just by names and dont follow their religion and so are hindus and chirsitaians ... so who cares if one person converted to other religion ...
if ARR reads this forums..if at all he has tht time..hez gonna have a huge laugh @ ur expense guys..ha ha how corrupt our minds r tht u cant look beyond religion and appreciate a really really good musician and human being
"Life is a choice between hate and love and I choose love–thats why I am here" - ARR's oscar acceptance speech
If his father was not a composer, he wud have become pickpocketer in chennai buses after sofi baba's influence...changing the religion is not a solution buddy...

Thanks for confessing at least now. From his music we can make out he was forced to become a musician. And please dont lift our patriotic songs, religious songs, national anthem etc., and remix them. Lastly, time and again I don't understand why rediff is obsessed with this maN??
Some people want things quickly in their plate. In those days indeed there was poverty throughout the country. Even Lata Mangeshkar family had to go through much more trauma than this, but she knew hard work will work not changing religion or any peer baba. He has got music from his father, not from peer baba.

If his father would have not been composer, he would had no idea what his future would have been. He should always remember and thank his father

Ofcourse during bad days when they needed help, his relatives must have turned back of what the peer baba must have taken disadvantage.

Why bangladesh is so poor and the beggars running from the country, why no peer baba there to save themselves? why don't they make bangladesh rich instead of running and begging at our government, claiming themselves as poor.

Mostly Hindus are selfish, should learn to be supportive to their own brothers and sisters than pushing them in grave and laughing at them from this mullahs, who never permit themselves to convert to other religion or will get killed. In this board so many zaf*rani people got together, if this man was dilip instead of rahman all will definitely praise him, but as usual their target is is*m so they started barking like street dogs without 0% of knowledge about who has creative mind and how is copy cat.
