i guess rediff uses some kind of filter. Whenever i collectively use words like g a n d h i or c o n g r e s s or r a h u l or s o n i a in my comments it automatically immediately gets deleted or doesn't posted at all.
I can understand this happening when one uses libelous language.
But u see rediff is as secular as CON_gress in this country

All these lokpal bills or other bills are not important in my opinion. Corruption exists not because of some individuals but because of the mindset of Indian people in general. Unless this changes nothing will change. RGV is candid in his opinion but he is a very smart guy and he knows people of India like the back of his hand. That's why he is almost saying movements like these wont bring any change unless people change themselves. Its easy for people to blame politicians and others bureaucrats for everything but who are these people from ? From our society which we are all part of.

very true buddy! its common man who give 10-15 rs to traffic police to get rid of him, its common man who give 50 buck to an unauthorised agent to get his reservation, its common man who in his daily life gives bribe to babus in one way or the other. i think lokpal bill in no way help us.

True the Lokpal Bill has to be complimented well with a tough legal system which would need an electoral reform also. But Lokpal Bill is the first step towards a better and corruption free society.
Just think of a situation. While you are climbing a high rise (without any lift) do you stop because you know you can't climb up to the 10th floor, knowing that your family is waiting there?
The first step is always important. The rest will follow. At least this movement has shown that the people of India are still more powerful than the politicians.
Never mind what a moron like RGV says. One who doesn't understand films yet continues to make flop films, what more can you expect. He is just trying to sound smart. But he doesn't realise that he has made an ass of himself.
