when sundry artists and vamps die, immediately all TV channel churn out their old movies by paying tribute to that artist. Whereas this great extraordinary talented (at par with renowned former actress of all film industry in india)after her sudden demise, Tamil Cinema Industry did not have even the basic courtesy to run a scroll in their channel and also telecast any of her marvel movies of yester years.
This is inspite of great actors like Rajini, Kamal, Surya, Sharat, Radha Ravi, etc., at the helm of affairs of film industry.
Day in and day out, most of tamil private channels have time to dole out the idiot Vadivel comedy repeatedly but have no time to air this great artist's movie for the viewers.

i concur with you.. she is not short of any legend. who held her own .. steadfastly avoided cheap wall paper heroine roles and chose roles of substance. learnt telugu too and dubbed her lines.
Real loss to tamil cinema....excellent actress with varied emotions.....who can forgt her role in aval oru thodarkathai, avargal, vidhi etc etc...KB has really used her potential to the maximum...and infact he told once in an interview about the best heroines of his introduction and sujatha is one among them....may her soul rest in peace!!

She always used to play the tragic roles. Only in early movies did she play some romantic roles...
One actress we can never forget, if we have seen her films. She looked an Indian family lady everyway. Just a humble Indian lady living her part. What we see now are just make believe. Frankly, I have stopped watching films for this reason for years! Just a waste of time and especially after the special effects, making a fool of people! There is nothing like living our lives and learning how to live better. Now it is rank commercialism. And no one willing to say the emeperor has no clothes. Does anyone care other than imitating others endlessly?
Your films will live forever in the hearts of true film enthusiasts. Real life depicted, not challenging reason at every turn. My you find true bliss, wherever you are Sujatha!
