Remakes are remakts always dead waste. There is no point in talking about it,since it has zero value and long term prospects. Its annoying that some selfcentric persons are desperate to highlight without having any min sense.Whenever we talk with our non kannada friends or colleagues,we feel ashamed and disgusting from thier replies.I request all boy fans to stop thier posting which is anti kannada and desructive having great tendency to give wrong messages about our industry. If you realy care and love language, stop highligting your idols with exagerrated comments. Its only blind and p boy fans having extreme negativity about great actors and thier unmatchable contriutions for uolifting the pride and selfrespect of language.

Yea well said. There is no point in high regards towards remakes taking into considerations several factors of our state, nativity, etc. There is big difference between that happens naturaly and forcing it to happen, forcing something without any authencity always unacceptable especialy to folks like ashwin.Ravi's success rate is high compared to other remake heros ,but he used to do those with changes, technical aspects,richness...infact he remains in history asa technician rather then as a actor.

We cannot bring back the good old days of acting and awesome movies of the 70's and 80's where stalwarts like Dr.Rajkumar,Vishnuvardhan,Anant Nag gave some intense performances not directors like Puttana Kanagal made movies so differently with lot of integrity. There has been a downfall in the industry from past 2 decades thanks to some bad production and equally bad actors.Earlier movies had stories which were thought provoking backed by some excellent acting.I think people like Ravichandran tried their luck in the 80's and 90's and were successful by copying stories from movies. Then there was a viod and the industry was never able to pick up.There is a dearth of good movies. If we compare it with other southern indisutries,I think Tamil movies have been touch ahead with their story telling and innovation followed by malayalam and telugu.Right now,I see a slow improvement in the movie making.Jackie is one recent example.Directors like Suri and Yograj Bhat are the saving graces and I hope we see more directors like them in the future.

Ravi is one among the remake heros...can you name any movies remade to other languages from your idol, can you count remakes of ur idol..be consistent and sensible rather being biased and boy fan to highlight.
Kannada films fear everything, starting from drama companies in AP to IPL. Instead, they should try and improve the quality of their films. I'm not trying to sound sarcastic here, but it's a fact everybody is aware of.

Hi Ajit, People would take care of quality if there is enough audience. As it is, the actors dont get enough money, because Kannada cinema is not lucrative at all. Which is why all quality (writers and directors) move to lucrative areas. That apart, there is never enough money to put in high end technical movies like Robot. That leaves quality kannada cinema makers like Yograj Bhat! He can make only two movies a year. Inspite of that, most kannada movies are quite decent.
i don't understand the intention of the writer here, looks like she is a pakka sadist who wants enjoyment from the fights here. i sometimes feel the writer is R.G Vijayasarathy in the disguise of a female name
