I liked him in the Great Race round the world and the serial The Two with Roger Moore. He was really a good looker and a good actor but spoilt it all by being an alcoholic May his soul rest in peace

He was a legend in an era which was the best in American history, a cool suave actor who wowed generations with his acting skill. Never will we see his likes again. May his soul rest in peace!!!

His depiction of an escaped convict in 1958 movie The Defiant Ones earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for best Actor.
