Anjaana Anjaani scored in UAE while Robot could not make much impact. Endhiran (Tamil) scored hugely on a limited release. The daily weekend figures were as follows.
Each and every person who posted the hate messages and dividing our COUNTRY into different parts should be ashamed of themselves. The two people hurt the most would be Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinkanth. They are the best of friends and their firendships spans over 2 decades and here we find people abusing them just because they act in films. I am an ardent movie fan and i watch every movie be it hindi, tamil, malayalam or english. Every actor has his/her style. As mature audience we need to accept that and not make such remarks. I am deeply hurt by the comments posted by my fellow country. I cant call them friends coz i cant be friends with people who carry so much hatred for their own countrymen. Please donot divide the country based upon films, if there is a big budget film like robot/endhiran be proud of it. Ignorant people from all over the country please watch some great Indian movies,the list is endless and Indian cinema has given classics like Black, Anbe Sivam, Paa as well as entertainers like 3 Idiots, Padayappa, Sholay and many more........Go watch movies....Enjoy...

I totally agree with you and proud of you. No need to listen people who only always compare & comments in a funny way. They are never going to learn to review or rate any Indian movie in a neutral point of view. They appreciate hollywood movies even if they don't know English even if there are 1000s of mistakes. These people are never going to appreciate any Indian movies which will have different aspects than masala & romance film.
HEATH LEDGER'S JOKER PERFORMANCE IN KNIGHT RIDER ...IS VERY EASILY SURPASSED BY BAD CHITTI ROBOT PERFORMANCE BY RAJNI SIR ... IF HEATH LEDGER IS ALIVE TODAY ... I AM SURE ...HE WOULD HAVE VOLUNTARILY GIVEN HIS OSCAR TO RAJNI SIR .... THERE IS NOT A SINGLE ACTOR IN INDIA ... WHICH CAN MATCH ACTING TALENT AND SUPERSTAR IMAGE OF THE BOSS ... RAJNI SIR ...
Endhiran might cross Avtaar's collection (only Indian region) not world wide collection. Avatar is an International movie. Endhiran is just a national movie and its got its viewers only in South India. Even people from North India are not going to see this movie, forget the world wide audience.

hi buddy......i dont know y u r saying the movie will not do well throught the world.i saw the movie its an first indian movie made in hollywood style(by all means). movie is fantastic.there r lots of positive review comin from different part of the world.ppl arround the world were giving ve reviews only.pls dont comment about this movie without seeing or without understanding(if u dont understand try to get a person with u to theatre who have better knowledge)
Chennai is the cultural capital of India. Northis should accept their inferiority and stop making excuses like 'Chennai is conservative'etc. See the clear superiority of Sankar's Robot over anything that Bollywood vomits out. Be inspired by Chennai and become cultured. Ask any cricketer and he will say Chennai crowd is the most educated. They always applaud at the right time and are always gracious to applaud the opponents even Pakis. Likewise Tamil films espouse good values. Hindi films are 100% garbage. Take hit films like MunnaBhai or 3 idiots it shows the Hero being a thug/bully it shows cheating/ragging as cool. MunnaBhai MBBS was remade in Tamil and was a massive massive disaster. Tamil audience have brains, they won't watch such garbage. Hope Northies watch Robot and feel ashamed at how inferior Bollywood is and try to rectify this defect. I request all to take this message in the right spirit

....very entertaining. Liked Shanker's vision and technical aspects of the movie. Infact the director has seamlessly Indianised the technical aspects of the story. Of course there is this little matter of the super star. He proved that he does not require a typical character driven role (read the usual mass masala), and performs as the script demanded. Bottom line - you won't be disappointed. Go, watch it!
1. Villain Rajni awesome..showed that he came as a villain in movies and excelled as a hero..proved it !!! 2.Ash nearly 90pc frmaes in the movie along with rajni..first part u see her old(aging), but second half exposed a lot made her a damsel !!! 3.Shankar,sabu cyril,technicians took away last 30 mins along with rajni the entire cost of production with mindblowing graphics !!! 4.The theme could have shed more light on counteracting villain robo,danny could have been used more..but then it would be a full length scifcition movie, indian masala dominated 60pc 5.As usual comedy no comparisons for rajni!! 6.Romance songs does not fit in with the story 7.ARR background music not upto mark..

wat the hell r u telling. Rahman rocks in this movie. ITs fantastic. his music is mindblowing and background score. action seen music is fantastic. only rahman can do wonder like that.
northies r mindless. They makes films like om shanti om, dabaang as hits. But the same people simply criticising films like ROBOT. No one every might have watched in indian cinema these kinds of computer graphics. its world class and first time in indian film. Please northies mindless people. Go and watch this.

don't get carried away just because a few people make comments. i am a north Indian and i watched robot in noida yesterday. to tell you, even 11pm show was almost full and people enjoyed it. Now the choice is yours to make...build your judgment on few spurious comments or use ur brain. It doesnt matter either way.
