In which language was it dubbed first Tamil or Malayalam?
by PRADEESH BOOPATHY on Oct 25, 2010 07:33 PM

Hi,
i would like to know whether this movie was dubbed in malayalam/tamil first, I know its bilingual, but all the scenes are same in both languages and there is no small change in both, so definitely it should hv been shot in 1 language and then dubbed/mixed with other...would u please clear this, coz in tamil i was seeing a lot of unsync dialogues when the movie starts especially when some of the malyalam actors act...Please clear this dilemna..

Last sentence reads "Had Henry's screenplay shored it up with logic, Vande Mataram would have been more than just a choppy bash-fest."
And Henry has blamed Mammooty for the movie turning out to be a flop..!!!

for syam every movie released in 2010 except yakshi r dissappoiniting. If some one say this mr syam will be over the top of the world. Nice to see u injectin venom in this discussion board too.

btw, i happened to hear that the producer of yakshi is now speaking against vinayan for incurring him losses, but mr vinayan claims the movie is still in cinemas. (pls clarify the 1 theatre playin yakshi now, may b in theatres in vinayans athbuthadweepu).

Dissappointing or not, Mammootty nd lal managed to chase yakshi off the cinemas. But i do know u are still not going to accept yakshi's 3 week run was the courtsey of having no competitors during onam which made ur yakshi a 'clear winner of Onam'.

My dear friend william,Yakshi is the clear winner in onam race. Now the producer had some hiden agenda.Yester day vinayan explained it.How this movie will be a loss.It got free run for 3 weeks without any competition.By satelite rights and other remake rights it will gain a huge amount.Do you think vande matharam is a good movie?

i never said a word abt vande matharam. i hav had a gut feelin tat this movie is gonna b another dud frm mammootty.

I explained u y yakshi is 'winner' of onam nd even ur words of havin no competitors vouches mine. ter was practically no other movies as far as the people r concerned. the 3 weeks run is like mookkillaraajyathu murimookkan rajavu. all the fuzz nd scandals helped yakshi ovr othr onam movies. but as i said b4 yakshi cdnt survive the ramzan releases. had yakshi been a good movie, it wud hav been in the theatres even now like apoorvaragam. nd Vinayans explanation of hidden agenda is just natural as anyone else will do to clear the allegation. the producer is the one who put in money, so his words hav more credibilty rather tahn vinayan's who tries to make people believe his yakshi is a huge success which it is not. the figures out cud b manipulated by the people related to a movie. nd the oustin of yakshi in the 4th week proves ter wer not many takers for the movie even tho it ran 4 reg shos in cinemas without competition. it may get sattelite rights but the actual figures r never gonna get out. the fig said by vinayan or producer can b their own as no one is bothered to check it. even if yakshi manages to break even it can never b called hit or a movie accepted by people

btw, no tamil or telugu movie makers is approachin vinayan for the remake rights. vinayan is goin to them sayim 'remake right venooo' behind the back of the producer. nd vinayan will hav to sell sattelite rights for a meagre amount as no channels will b willin to pay high price for such a crap movie. the producer is still mournin abt the uge losses he is havin by makin yakshi.

nyways yakshi will b called superhit by hannel people wen the air it. but they call even unreleased movies blockbuster

I love this part of the review.

Score one for a screenplay that actually shows the wife holding a responsible, unusual and stressful job with elan. It's a pity that she has to immediately drop this avatar and break into a romantic dance, before leaving for a good part of the film.

"neat cinematography" in para 1.

"there are too many sudden and terrifying close-ups that serve no purpose except to madden you, courtesy Vetri's camera" towards the end.

wat a review!
