manish...looks are not important. However, I don't dispute your orientation! What makes a good actor is how they act and portray the story. Their skill in portraying a character is what matters and not their looks. Then again it depends all on the viewers maturity in understanding art and creativity.

the film culture is completely different in Kerala compared to bollywood. Traditionaly malayalam directors and script writers were literary giants, likes of MT Vasudevan Nair(Gyanpeet Award winner) makes earthly movies filled with human emotions and brilliant portrayal by brilliant actors like Mammoty and Mohan Lal. They may be old but they plays characters which are apt for their appearance. Malayalam films becomes successful only due to its brilliant direction, script and all overall acting unlike pure songs , dance and fights in bollywood films . There is nothing wrong in it but it’s a cultural gap and it cannot be easily understood. In Kerala art films runs for weeks wherein other states such attempts on film making is widely ignored.
