bollywood is blessed with Salam who can play a "corrupt cop, action hero, comedian, romantic" all in one movie and still looks so adorable and stylish. He can very well carry action in a movie, However,but he can't carry movie in action. Lots of fight were uncalled for in the movie. bob... u r review cofusing.. first comment and the second comment is contradicting... its the best action flick til date in bollywood.. salman perfomrs the action sequence with ease...
countries boycott celebrity rouges eg: Michael jackson,mike tyson,tiger woods.Linsay lohan to name a few few of these same guys get converted in the US.
In India we keep them at highest pedestal. Tiger pautudi,Salamander,monica bedi and very soon shiny (clean)Ahuja , Azarhuddin etc. Its a joke , but good to see negative reaction to 5" khan on rediff fourun.barring a few nuts

movie broke day one record of 3 Idiots. 15 Crore. NB - Ticket price had been raised for 3 Idiots. Had that been case for Dabangg, it would have crossed 20 crore. Sallubhji rocks
