ok i trust your proof about prabhu deva. but you have to accept about murai and manjunath naicker being tamils. it is silly to claim non-kannadigas as kannadigas. look below for post about murali.

I'm reIative of nagendraprasad's wfe... my famiIy and nagendraprasad are very close... he only said that he is from mysore (mugur), he is lingayat...

dude, in which angle does murali look like a kannadiga? look at him, he is a pure tamilian. his mother is tamil, i've seen siddalingiah speak, he has thick tamil accent. murali's parents are tamils fullstop.

man, neither u nor me personaIIy know abt manjunath.. u assumed him as tamil bcoz of surname naicker.. huh!! manjnath is from northkarnataka... do u knw that kannada/telugu naicker/nayakars exist, just do google since there is caste kannada naicker (do google), he might be kannadiga only... naicker/nayakar is anglicise form of kannada nayakaru so without having authentic source u or me should not post about others identity.

i read in some newspaper that siddalingaiah roots are from karnataka. probably he named after karnataka god siddalingeshwara, a purely kannada god. murali mother is tamil right? so he becomes tamil too...
I have seen this general trend of coming up with the names of South Stars, where as there are several otehr great actors in marathi bengali Oriya, Ahamiya regional language films . Why rediff doesnt showcase them?

Kannadigas in tamil industry are Mike Mohan, Arjun, Soundarya and comedian Nagesh. Rajanikanth is Marathi. I see kannadigas claiming Rajani to be kannadiga which is silly. He is marathi full stop. I know more than you do.
There is a not a single word about his debut Kannada film Prema Parva which had become super hit 80's. Still I can remember his acting in Prema parva, Ajay Vijay, Thayi Kotta Thali etc. Very talented actor, we miss you Murali !
