A movie is a team effort. No one can by themselves achieve a milestone with it unless it is a superstar or a star director.
Here in this movie, there is sooo much of technical details which the first bench audiences can see. 1st, the cinematography. Can anyone who comment here take a still worth it? 2nd, the editing, same challenge. 3rd, acting by vikram and the group... man... no bollywood movie can acheive this perfection. Just because the movie didnot gross millions doesnt mean that the movie is crap. That is what our illiterate guys wud decide on.
This movie has soo many intrigate details that the very intelligent only will understand. period. This is not a mass movie.
If the film was HIT, definitely Abhishek and Aishwarya would have been there since the movie flop they don't have guts to be associated with Raavan anymore. This shows how MEAN they are

Quality of Mani & A R Rehaman detoriate after ROZA.Other movies & music became HIT but never reached at the standard of ROZA
Vikram and Mani probably booked air tickets to venice 6 months back, anticipating a huge response for Raavan(an). Since they didnt want to waste the tickets, they are in venice.. They avoided a no-show for the tickets but the movie was a definite 'no-show'
A dead reptile. where is this film running it already in scrap market sold in weight basis. may be Mani has booked and payed for the award before release of the film
