Bollywood is only recognized industry in India and hats off to bollywood to take Indian cinema beyond borders. We dont make only masala movies but also path breaking movies like Peepli Live, Swades , 3 Idiots and movies by Anurag Kashyap. Our movies goes for oscars and we are the best. Why south Indian directors moved to bollywood like Mani sir and Priyan sir . south indian actors die to work in Bollywood like Asin and Shreya .But kick them back

I agree but I know this fact is not acceptable to many regional worms. All regional actors or so called regional superstars tried in bollywood in a secondary role to a bollywood actor but hardly anyone succeeded including Rajni who played secondary roles to Amitabh in Hum and Andha Kanoon, all Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh tried in xyz bollywood films but no one succeeded. All bollywood flop actresses are hit in south cinema and are sole superstars. Regional worms you will have to accept the popularity of boolywood because that represnts India and no other film industry has any comparison to it. Hindi rocks...

only you know the names and believe no body else in India has any clue about these people except Kamal only because he did one or two hindi films. I have seen your useless south movies while browsing channels and always see people with fat tummy dancing like animals and in name of comedy showing ugly faces and huge tongues and you call them movies. May be you can screen them in southern africa in jungles and orangutans and chimapnzees will definitely enjoy.

I think Great invader is bang on to some extent, just sums up the cluelessness of fans from the villages of Mumbai and its neighboring parts- he is the typical bollywood NUMPTY.
All these thespians have international acclaims, but the regional HINDI MOVIE CHANNELS telecasting Bollywood nonsense would not spare time to quality..so little villagers like Great Invader's are unaware of this..But these villagers represent a very small ignorant part in a big country like India..But what annoys people is they strongly live in a delusion their ill educated opinion about popularity counts.

Yeah man..I understand all this but what to do..Media created bollywood hpe and Indian cinema will always be known to the world as bollywood :-) :-)..Even after 100 years..and this fact was echoed by southern actor Suriya /Surya as well..Accept the difference between regional and national and your mind will be cleared of these complexes..As regional stars..lot of actors are superstars in their own territory /states..but the fact remains (however hard you or me or anyone try) that bollywood is the ultimate destination of any film star in India..and everyone has tried their hanfds to succeed there.. Bollywood may make junk movies but there reach is very very wide as Hindi is most spoken / understood language in India.. with due respect to all regional languages

mr gupta u know most of the invention in indian film industry happening in south india only , and bollywood lives by copying it if want to go and reasearch about past history, and more over soth indaians are more in abroad comare to north and ur still in well their are many more i keep on do list like this ...
