no senthil..this report claims(not sure if robot has made more money) 30crores. for the amount it was purchased(50 crores) it is average. but other websites claim robot to have made 90 crores gross. if you happen to see the gross collection for movies in bollywood the nett profit is 35% of the gross. for example if a movie has made 100 crores in box office it is 35% of 100 crores, which is 35 crores nett profit for the distributor. IN SOUTH INDIA IT IS 50% OF GROSS IN TAMIL NADU AND ANDHRA. IN KARNATAKA FOR NON KANNADA MOVIES IT IS 35% OF GROSS(KARNATAKA GOVT CHARGES 27% ENTERTAINMENT TAX) IN KERALA NETT PROFIT IS 40% OF THE TOTAL GROSS.
What did you have to give a thumbs down to Rakta Charitra for its Gore and Violence when that is the USP of the film?? Its a genre, dark film will be rendered with such scenes.
Its like giving a thumbs down to the "hilarity and fun" in a comedy movie.
