hmmm... great... police officer... if we keep on splitting ourselves when will we concentrate on bringing them into the fore front... that was done or not is not the bone of contention but rather how are we going to prevent it from happening in future... leaders are born out of us.. when we are ourselves prejudiced how can they be unlike us ??
I read a couple of reviews and there isnt much written about suryas performance. Is he there in guest appearence in the movie or is it a full fledged role..

As always, RGV must have sowed the seed (just in case) for another movie; he always does that at the end of a good movie.
This review is good..just one thing i didnt understand that is after praising the film why did she gave 2 n 1/2 stars..the reviews is 3 n 1/2 star kind of .. anyways looking fwd to it
It shows NTR as villian, how dare varma is ,After loossing his money in Hindi, he started these cheap publicity tricks. It will raise a new agitations in AP if NTR is shown under played.

What's wrong if it has been shown in that way. Who knows he may be right. It was the era where factionism was at it's peak. Without political leaders support it is not possible.

I can say amitabh is terrorist and then say who know he may be right. Will you agree?

For Telugus NTR is unforgettable even after 15 years of his demise. 8 crores of Telugu(Here there're no Telangana barriers) adore him for what he is. RGV has been a childhood of his too. He is the only politician who banned liquor when he returned to power keeping his poll promise. He ended congress monopoly in AP forever. He came to power in record 9 months after floating the party which proves his popularity. Only MGR of TN is comaparable to NTR in terms of the love and affection he garners from his state citizens. At one point in 1995, 288 out of 293 seats in AP Legislative assembly were of NTR's TDP. He is the penultimate of what a man from humble origins could achieve in his art and public life with hard work and sincerity. He was not a sycophant for he confronted with Indira gandhi head-on. For many Telugus, he represents the pride. But despite this mad-following, towering public image, he was very non-violent in his ways of dealing faction in Anantapur. But Varma showed otherwise hurting the Telugu sentiment. Bal Thackaray's Sarkar protrayal can't be the same for NTR for Thackaray's Shivsena is inherently violent and TDP during NTR was lovable and peaceful and non-threatening.

I think you dump and deaf......? Do you know the total voting count of Kamma's in AP? It is 6% only compared to 40% of Reddy's and Kapu's. How can you say he won because of cast?

caste?? guys NTR won because of his fan following. for his fans he was ram personified.
and as far as the movie is concerned i dont think they have shown anything bad ... he has only shown what a politician is likely to do...nothing more nothing less... lets be rational and not bring caste feeling here ok ? its already killed people .. lets take the jingoism of caste out.. we are all indians first for gods sakes..

You don't know how to spell; no wonder you don't know what you are talking about.
NTR portrayed countless mythological characters for several decades and people of Andhra considered him to be god like. NTR formed TDP party, within less than 10 months swept the entire Andhra Pradesh with his mass fan following and became Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It is not because of his caste, people treated him like god.
None in India can repeat this feat again. Not Amitabh, not Rajini, not Chiranjeevi...

Varma is a different class of a director and a man, to attribute money as motive to him is worng. Unlike anyone else many young directors and actors were given big oppurtunities by him. Money sure was'nt a motive for him any time.
People are becoming blind, deaf and dumb becaue of caste feeling. It's a wellknown fact that Kamma's were very backward until NTR's rule after NTR's rule suddenly they have seen huge wealth and started competing with Reddy's.
It's sad to see people, going after Varma just for a wrong perseption of showing NTR in a sligtly negative shade. This is height of castism.

You have not traveled to proper Andhra region like Krishna, Guntur in 1950s,60s,70s, did you?
Kammas are a well to do lot in the Andhra region for ages. If you don't know then keep silent. How come NTR becoming a chief minister would make Kammas wealthy as if Kammas have looted people under NTRs rule?
RGV is a fan of Senior NTR; he mentioned in ono of his youtube interviews. May be he portrayed NTR as bad but he may have done it to make it more entertaining.
NTR as a chief minister had done a decent job...he was not excellent and he was not worse too. He was talk of the entire country because of his sudden and unexpected marriage to Lakshmi Parvati. Otherwise, he would have completed his third term as a Chief Minister too.

Well there are various things about Kamma's origin and history. Many which we can not bear to hear ..
Let's leave at that...sometimes it's painful to know the truth and better to get rid of this in the modern world.
