Amal seems to have made another pooper. Prithviraj seems to be oblivious to the fact that this is a flop. Maybe other actors also helped make it look like crap. Mamta mohndes is also done a bad performance. strangely Most of the movies with nitya menon seems to be flop, but she is good talent. But anyway anwar is bad movie to watch, iwasted the good money.

can't agree completeley.. it was a brave attempt and the results are also not bad.. even though not a block buster still managed to gross well..
The movie has hanlded a bold topic in a bold way. Unlike his last two movies, this movie has got a wonderful story line, good screenplay along with that Amal's as usual qualities makes this movie an awesome one
Prakash Raj & Prithwi Raj were excellent in their performance. Lal & Mamta too justified their roles.
It is some thing like Amal neerad has just continued from the point where he stopped in Saga Alias Jacky.Predictable story without an interesting screen play.Mamta Mohandas has shown justice to her character.Camera is good. Songs are good. the way shreya sings is really laudable.
This film is a watchable film.Good story,Good screenplay,over all good direction from amal neerad.It seems that amal has learned his mistakes from earlier films.Performance by young super star Prithviraj is terrific.I don't think it is a copy of any english film.Over all a worth to watch film.Cudos to amal and team.But i don't under stand one thing.why rediff has given stars along with movie title for the first time.

I had also one opinion.Rediff should keep this policy for coming films.I think rediff is the most viewed site by our film fans.

It is curious that this time rediff has given the stars along with the review heading. But in the previous cases (eg- Aakrosh) the stars was not there in the subject heading. Is there any reason behind that.
Whatever you say 'truth is truth'! The movie lacks a good story line. The movie is a clear copy of the movie 'traitor'! In some centers the family audience are leaving before the intervals!!! According to me the movie is a HUGE FLOP as it is a big budget movie!

dear friend anwar is an action packed movie let the action movie lovers watch the movie and rate the film... there are no seducing scenes or double meaning vulgar comedies in the film for the families to get upset,everything else are just second rate rumors....

hey kishore, amal's Big B was a frame to frame copy of 4 brothers, now this is said to b a copy of traitor. do u kno wer did SAJ come from. i hav been thinkin abt it quite a long time

Unlike previous movies of Amal this one leaves some message, for an action movie a lengthy emotional story will be boring, anyway the story is presented pleasingly and the action scenes are mind blowing.. well done prithvi and amal...

Anwar is superb.. After Unnai Pol Oruvan (A Wednesday in Hindi, this film is a bold effort to handle such a sensitive issue like terrorism without ill feeling to anybody. Prakash Raj, Prithvi and Lal perform well. Action Sequences are brilliantly shot A Must watch Movie

A wednesday is one of the best in Indian cinema. naseruddin shah was top notch. both kamal nd lal wer not in par with their hindi counterparts.
