Movie making is a culture also. If you look at priyan’s career, in the early late 80s and 90 he made comic movies (most of them originated from Hollywood) with Mohanlal on the lead role. On late 90s Mohanlal lost the image of door to the next boy and Priyan started moving to Bollywood with the remakes of the superhit south Indian films. The only movie which stands out in his career is Kanchivaram (Tamil) which he got the national recognition. Also we can add Kaalapani (Malayalam) to a certain extend only. Apart from these 2 movies, there is nothing to cheer about Priyan’s career as a film maker. Perhaps he has earned a lot of monetary thru his remakes. But film making or any art form is not all about making money. It is stamping our signatures with our own style and class and which we cannot observe on Priyadharsan.

I am 100% sure that you didn't watch any of these movies..
Really well made movie, though max of the scenes are copied from Mississipi Burning, but the director has Indianised those scenes really nicely.. Paresh rocks as usual, Ajay and Akshayee joins the partyy.. Reema Sen is the surprise element of the movie. She rocks..
i liked the movie, till the time i saw MB, aakrosh is photocopied frame to frame from MB. and the sad part is even dialogues are copied. shame on priya darshan.

@Biswas,
Pls do not insult the originalality of the makers of Mississipi Burning with your frivolous comments. Pls watch Mississipi Burning, you will know the immense strength of the movie.

- I have seen both. Priyan's movie is well made with Indian sensibilities. It has enough strength of its own.
