MOST MALAYALAM MOVIES ARE CHEAP IMITATIONS OF HINDI TAMIL FILMS WITH HARDLY ANY CREATIVITY IN SCRIPTING. THESE PRODUCERS HAVE LITTLE MONEY AND SO THE TECHNO-SAVVY TAMIL AND HINDI MOVIES ARE WHAT MODEN YOUNG MALAYEALEES OPT. MALAYALM FILMS WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF MALAYALAM ARE ALL WASTED, AS THERE IS NOT MUCH MONEY FOR TECHNICAL WIZADRY

the problem lies with both film makers and viewers. The ramzan BO result is an example. Pranchi, the best of 2010, is in the 3rd place wer as an average fare like elsamma has topped the BO. people opt pokkiriraja rather than paleri or pranchi. its a pathetic stage. i still wonder hw a menal movie like sakudumbam syamala managed to hav a decent run in th BO. ters loads of crap directorn in malayalam film industry nd new crap directors like sajeevan of chekavar is comin to make movies. top of tat serial directors r also tryin to make movies tat has only a mega serial standard. even the movie is a megaserial 2nd half hours with several plots nd subplots tat never develops or ends well nd ends a total mess. syamala nd ivar vivahithar r perfect examples of mega serial movies. directors of these moviesother directors like pramod pappan, shaji azeez, vinayan etc shud stop film makin for the sake of it.
ter was a few good movies i hav seen recently like passneger, TD Dasan, ranjit movies which r a class apart from 90% of the total releases. since these movies r not made great hits, directors loose their nerve to make briliant movies nd go for these kinda junks
