In Robot everything is appreciated apart from Rajni.He was looking like a joker at this age.At least not a protagonist.His look was more like a average old man with sub standard acting.I will pat Shankar for new adventure in graphics which would give new direction to Indian Cinema in coming years but at many places he goofed up by mixing typical Rajni masala with this scintific movie e.g mosquito scene for 10 minutes,fire scene at house was very bad in presentation,robots pulling two truck back to back by chain,collecting all weapons from police officers with magnetic induction and making a big boomrang,those scenes were not at all required to make this movie clumsy.I heard once from once of my Tamil friend that in one movie Rajni had one bullet and he fires it and also throws a knife which cuts the bullet in two parts and both of the villain gets killed.That is called Rajni masala which is ludicrous.In most of the places Rajni's movement was like a normal human being and not as a Robot.By putting just a Rajni's mask on a Robot does not make a Robot as humaoid robot as at no places he has shown the characterisitcs of robot but of Rajni's.This movie would have been much scientific without Rajni's masala but my Tamil friend says you have to ignore Rajni masala as without it Rajni films are incomplete and people enjoy these kind of scenes.So it is all about Rajni's fan choice and not of masses.In a nutshell it is more of Shankar's film than Rajni's film.

Which Hindi/other language movies shows real stuff? Except a very few movies, most movies are a curse on India. They are plain dirty, useless and most movies are copied from some where. Hindi movies call themselves Bollywood...even that is not original. It is also an industry where women are expolited to the maximum.

Even this " masala" was too much for audiences in the north of our great country to handle. The hindi version has collected good money only in the "A" centres in the north. And you are talking about "Rajini masala" ?? You must be joking. Shankar is the smartest filmaker in the country and when he froze his budget, he knew on Rajini would justify the budget given the mass following he enjoys. Its a calculated gamble that has paid off, apparently. Obviosuly, if he has made film with SRK, he would have toned dowm the masala, but lost out on the B & C centre audience, which is crucial to make any film a super success. Most KJo and yashraj films depend on multiplex and overseas markets,this film has targeted all markets, which it had to, to recover its investment. Its pure commerce.

Really the movie sucks... We could not see the perfection and presentation for an 160 crore movie... acting wise Rajini really dissappointed. Many of the scenes there is no difference seen between normal and Robot Rajini mannerisms.. this is not expected from this talented team with this amount of budget... Better luck next time..

i saw this movie yesterday..believe me...IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER....chat with mosquitos> fight scenes> and most importantly. RAJANIKANT...yaar...does he act like robot? my god..pathetic..and worse..the special effects were not upto the mark..Introducing Rajnikant does only one thing..which is to exceed the budget to whopping 160crs...thx to his contribution of 45crs as fee... total bakwas movie.. and yes..my dear south fellows..I M NOT APPRECIATING DABANG, HOUSEFULL...THOSE R EVEN WORSE COS ROBOT HAS SOME NEW CONCEPT TO INDIA..SO CHILL.. I BELIEVE IN SHANKAR CAPABILITY BUT SORRY..THIS TIME HE FAILS..

i have seen this film in orissa , where all kind people including busineesmen,officials,students to lower people all enjoyed, intersting to note that uneducted labour people who unserstood this film enjoyed very well same like bangalore or chennai,after seeing some jealous comments here , i don't wt to say ,don't worry friends this film all written its grand success in the history of indian film industry
Besides enjoying the movie, I even enjoyed dialogues then and there .. zeta byte 2 to the power 9 kisses upgraded to 2.0 priority conflict I have done Driving Module programming. Not a bit , Bytes.. Awesome thinking... Thanks for giving such movie..
