Seems like rediff gave in to the comments made by the ignoramus readers and fired Mr. Sen. Why does ignorance/stupidity always rule over intelligence/rationality? Sigh!

Is it so? I have doubts whether sanity has at all been restored. Otherwise why r gas balloons like still fuming?
This review is misleading. The film is a great watch. Excellent writing, direction and performances. It's a must-watch, especially because most of us have either fought or come closer to our families due to consumerism!

i know u r gaay..u always comment on gaaytopics and support SRK-KJo..
Again an 'unpaid' review by rediff. Why did rediff not write "Too much of Rajni in Robot" - because rediff was paid 'TOO MUCH' for writing robot-the-idiot review.
Losing faith in rediff now - too biased and prejudiced.
Re: Not "too much of Rajni in Robot'?

hahaha..These grapes are sour..ths is the mentality of northies
robot is everywhere not only in rediff.. be it msn,behindwoods,indiaglitz,ndtv,cnn-ibn,timesnow etc.. .. that movie is worth .. bollywood cant even imagine to make a movie like robot instead abusing as if the producers paid everybody for their publicity.. its not SRK's movie, whre he goes to every street and malls, dance beofre public to promote his movies

Thank rediff for Raja has not reviewed this movie otherwise everything about the movie would have been simply `worst'. I wonder if Robot was reviewed by Raja

I agree, Rishi should have maintained himself better - Neetu looks young and gorgeous even today. But that is the Kapoor genes - cant help it.
Rishi Kapoor and Kamal Hassan acted together in Saagar as romantic heroes. Kamal Haasan, after 50 years in Cinema is still playing Romantic roles and looks handsome and well built with so many film offers, but Rishi Kapoor has become an 'uncle' and acts in these low budget family movies. The the funny thing here is Rishi is 5 years younger to Kamal. Except Amitabh, none of the yesteryear Bollywood actors have had a glorious career.

Mr. Sachin, here are the facts - MGR (Supporting actor for 10 years and hero for the next 20 years - total 30 years), NTR (about 30 years), Sivaji Ganesan (30 years as hero and 15 years as supporting actor), RajKumar (about 25 years), Rajinikant (hero from 1978 till date, i.e 32 yrs), Kamal Haasan (1976 till date, i.e 34 years), Mammoootty and Mohanlal (Hero from early 80s till date, i.e almost 30 years), Chiranjeevi (almost 30 years).
And u say South Actors dont have a Glorious career...lol

LOL.. bollywood? That trash film industry that churns out the same old jumping on the main streets of big cities in the name of dances, and series of punjabi weddings, and repetetive cliched love stories ... ad nauseam. LOL Bollywood is looked down upon as substandard cinema...every star of some repute in Bollywood from Dev Anand to Big B have gone on record admiring the 'work ethic' and 'superior technical skills and systems' of south indian cinema.
Why does South indian cinema consistently bag the most number of national awards...because they are setting benchmarks in every aspect of film making.
Bollywood had its best days in the 60s and 70s, and then it went downhill.
South Indian cinema is now benchmarking against Hollyood to try and bring in the same technology and skills to the south. Robot movie did this by getting Hollywood film technicians and coputer wiz, and there are increasing tie ups beteen Hollywood and South Indian cinema.
Like everything else, in cinematic brilliance too the South is overtaking the north.

YOu mean not all South indians are as good looking as Lalu Yadav, Mulayam Yadav, Mayawati, Rabri Devi, Meira Kumar and company?

It may be good (I have not seen it) but Taran Adarsh is a trade analyst not a movie critic. He never watch english or world cinema...his movie knowledge starts from Sholay and ends with Crook...please do not insult other critics by taking their names along with Taran Adarsh...he is a joke. He is a joke. If you take his name, people start laughing. Taran Adarsh - the move critic...ha ha he he ho ho O))

When did Taran become a top critic? He is a paid slave of Chopra/Johar production house.
