There is no need to read too much in to Rajinis comments, its political...Normally he would kneel down and fall under the feets of politicians and businessmen, issuing nonsensical one liners if it can generate publicity make his movies run... He has been doing the same for the last 27 years...

I lost my respect towards Rajini by comments like this.Calling someone like Thakkaray ''GOD'' for showing his film all over Maharashtra without intervention from Shiva Sena goons is something never expected from Rajini.He is acting like politicians
Surely calling a person GOD who doesnt respect his relative (Raj).Always against non marathi and against Sachin and APJ Kalam. Rajni never spoke any thing worng but calling him `GOD` this shold be read in reverse
