There is no point in pinpointing Rajinikant or South Indian cinema for the looks of its Heroes. Bollywood has equal number of dark and bad looking actors. Ajay Devgan is not fair. Konkona Sen is not a beauty. Smita Patil was dark and skinny. Sanjay Dutt isnt too handsome. I can list many more such ordinary looking celebrities. Rajinikant, for your information has many many other qualities which made him famous. There is not one Bollywood actor who is as stylish as him. His screen presence is amazing. When he appears on screen, you wont watch anyone else near him.
This movie has made every South Indian proud. In many parts of the world, where people have been considering Bollywood as the only Indian movie industry, Robot has proved that South Indian Film Industry is the one which actually makes quality movies.
Only rajini sir can pull off some thing like this and create magic,you will get oscars for this movie sir.you have made people crazy in USa & UK.who says india has stars only for india.BOSS has fan following in japan which is a great achivement as they like only perfectionist,LIke rajini.Hats Off thailaiva...

Leave aside the Oscar, it would be a gigantic surprise if the Academy of Motion pictures & art gives the slightest indirect hint that it has noticed the movie 'Robot' !!!
Many stupid squirrels attempt to ape the elephant by trying to open their mouths as wide as the latter does; but the elephant is never aware that there are tiny beings admiringly trying to ape it !!!
