srk obviously meant "here is a 3 day conference on me in vienna.was humbled & proud that I AM becoming a global platform for discussion."
fact is almost all these so called two bit conferences are attended by mostly bangladeshis and pakistanis and a few old retired white fringe audience.
srk is still a non-entity in the non-desi world - in fact aishwarya, shilpa shetty (following UK big brother success) and amitabh bachchan are the only ones known truly globally

is david cameron is bangladesi or pakistani? if not then why he said Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and cricket icons Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar among the cultural bonds that tie India and Britain.

idiot raju, India was its former colony, It is common for british to know famous people in India. Forget cricket players that game is played by some 10 countries that British colonies. If u live in US or UK or if u have any friends there, What kind of theaters show indian movies and how many white people come see those movies. U hardly see an non-desi coming to indian movies. Unless SRK or any other actor acts in hollywood movies they will not become global stars like a Jackie Chan or Jet Li.

You should try to read then you would understand that they diusscuse about the whole Indian Cinema not only about Hindi Cinema.
btw. Shah Rukh is a Global Star go around the World everybody knows Shah Rukh today. And btw last year Shah Rukh has attend the Golden Globes So much to he is not a Global Star.
Oh yes a few wrods to rediff first it is not good that you have to register before you can make a comment and second I'am from Germany and i had to choose a wrong Country cause Germany was not available. That is not fair. No wonder that so less good comments for Shah RRukh are here thats sad.:(
