Siddarth Anand is director's equivalent of music director Pritham. Like Pritham copies songs this guy copies movies. This so called talented director is nothing but copy cat who just watches Hollywood movies and just rips them without any shame.The whole of Indian movie industry is like this no creativity always copy paste
Would no advise even my enemies to see this thrash called Anjaana Anjaani as it is not only total waste of time and money but also endures physical torture and cruelty. The Govt. should invoke cruelty clause to protect people who suffer seeing such flop movies.
I am sure if it had been a run of the mill love story, the critics would have slammed it by saying theres nothing original, we have seen it all before and stuff. But give credit that they are trying out new things like IHLS(which was a refreshing take on romance), and AA(which I havent seen yet). This is definitely more interesting than a rich boy meets poor girl, parents oppose,happily ever after stories. New themes are being explored and while there are bound to be mistakes, we need to give them a chance. And if they entertain the masses as well, whats wrong? Atleast it cant be bad as Inception, which tries to potray itself as a high IQ movie, and we all came out of the movie hall understanding absolutely nothing!!

here is nothing like moral, immoral , new themed , old theme movies.
There are only good and bad movies.
And AA is a purest example of how bad a movie can be !

While i dont blame u for not understanding INCEPTION, i am quite amazed to see u find IHLS interesting, refreshing and new stuff tat no one has tried !! Rofl....... To like such movies, one has to be 12~15 yr old sumthng yet to hit his/her pubrty or must be someone watching bollywood movies for the 1st time. And I'm not even going to talk abt INCEPTION as its not for dumb people, which u clearly fit into. I just hope 'we didnot understand' refers to the morons who accompanied you to the theatre, not everyone in general !!

I agree Nisha, but the audience is quite fed up of the same stuff packed in glossy,synthetic treatment,why not some stories reflecting indian regions and ethos,that should be interesting.

Inception doesn't portray anything, watch all of Chris Nolan's works (esp Memento) before even trying to comment on one. I am sure you would not understand a thing in Memento, but just loved Aamir in its stupid remake Ghajini. Just because you did not understand the movie, doesnt mean its bad...same cannot be said about your IQ..sadly seems on the lower side...

I am sure if they had made a typical boy-meets-girl story, you would have slammed it for not being in tune with the times, for not trying something different etc. But now, since they are trying new stuff like IHLS(which was a refreshing take on love) and Anjaana anjaani(i havent seen yet), we need to give them a chance and praise their efforts in stepping out of the conformed standards. There are bound to be mistakes of course, but as long as they dont give off the I-have-seen-it-before vibes, they should be interesting to watch.

saw this movie in 2001 in telugu as 'Itlu Sravani Subramanyam' = yours sravani subramanyam. Why should i watch now
Finaly got to read someone with genuine comments.. else people like sonia chopra..taran adarsh writing paid reviews..In real There are hardly any good movies.. The new breed of directors which is young .. is just Inspired by watching 3-4 dvds everyday.. its heart breaking to see such shit work being promoted..Clueless movie.. even the humour is As Boring as it can get..
