Re: Anybody liked Knock Out (Copy of Phone Booth)

Yeah. Awesome movie. No faltu song sequences and everything had a reason. Wonderful movie. From phone booth, the fact that the guy is stuck in phone booth, because of a call plus getting his wife and gf together were the only thing that were copied. Rest was like "A Wednesday"

mishra ji, you are wrong. Aakrosh was over melodramatic and tended to take strong stance against the backdrop of a real occurrence. They should have shown what happened and left it at that.. rather they showed Akshay, Ajay etc. acting like super cops/sleuths. In contrast, Dabangg had no pretensions first of all, yet it too succeeded in portraying village life with the resourceful guys having easy morals, expediency - all against a heavily commercial backdrop. See the make up of Vinod Khanna, non-glamorous Dimple, lungi and banian wearing Salman. I live in U.P. and it felt like Dabangg was shot in my neighbourhood. Beyond this only Salman, Abhinav Singh Kashyap the director, all other characters, Munni Badnaam Hui et.al. never had any other intention but to give the audience wholesome entertainment. Abhinav succeeds heavily where his brother Anuraag fails consistently. Get the point, Mishra ji??
Lucky snake, wish I cud sukk Malaika's succee tong - slurp hiss slurp On a serious note, glad that old aunty aswariya's movies are flopping big time, hope that now atleast she will stop terrorizing the long suffering public and get lost for good!!

He will fall with a such a bang on his sore back that will take lots of time to get up on his feet.
Golmal 3 has fared very well in the box office and i found the movie funny and light hearted. I also would prefer it than depressing guzaarish. Though G3 is a mindless comedy, it was entertaining and better than golmaal 2. Hope golmaal series would continue like this.

you are right about endhiran, but why compare it with Hindi movies pal? Endhiran should be compared with other Tamil movies. It is Robot which has to compare with other movies. So in comparison to Dabangg, Robot (hindi) is an average hit and not a flop and in comparison to Guzaarish made by the phony SLB plus Jhoota hi Sahi, Aakrosh, Lafange Parinde, Knock Out etc. Robot is far above all of them put together. Period.

Hey Ankit, very funny eh? Rajnikanth is still rocking doing stunts etc. not stuttering like your famed AB. Like many other bollywood heroes, he doesn't go around selling underwear/banian or even DTH services. He is a thorough professional and does only acting. He is not into politics, does not run any college or educational institute i.e. he does not have any secondary source of income like AB has (no films) but KBC as the main source of income plus countless ads. It will be enough if any of your favourite heroes of today does when they are beyond even 50, what Rajni continues to do (Kamal still does) when he is probably above 60 himself. Don't compare panthers with mules. I like to compare Rajni with a crocodile, that lives with equal facility in both land and water i.e. is able to make appropriate adjustments according to the changed times and circumstances.
