Is it a perfect copy of ....Whose Life Is It Anyway?

Whose Life Is It Anyway? is a 1981 film adapted by Brian Clark and Reginald Rose of the 1972 television movie and play of the same title.

Richard Dreyfuss plays sculptor Ken Harrison, a quadriplegic who sues for the right to end his life. Bob Balaban plays a lawyer who helps Harrison while knowing that he is trying to win his client a death sentence; John Cassavetes plays Dr. Emerson, who is determined to keep his patient alive even against his wishes; and Christine Lahti plays Clare Scott, a doctor who falls in love with Harrison.

Hrithik at his best
by Gundu Rao on Nov 22, 2010 11:03 AM

Watched Guzaarish yesterday. Awesome movie yaar. A must watch. Hrithik at his best. Superb acting. For all those who believe SRK is the only actor hrithik has shown what a class actor he is. Sure to walk away with all the awards. SRK's acting in My Name is Khan was really boring. Don't compare hrithik and SRK. Hrithik's a far better actor.

Success of Guzarish and Hrithik peformance made SRK scared
by Ravi Roy on Nov 21, 2010 06:22 PM

As SRK thought that his idotic act in MNIK would get noticed this year. But after seeing Hrithik's performance in Guzzarish and Ranbir Kapoor's in Raajneeti..SRK looks nowhere around these guys. He must have started planning to float some freaky media propaganda to get some limelight in his life as well as buy some award anyhow.

A big flop.

Mr Sanjay fall back on Sharukh. He will only help you re-build yr. career. Else u will be found wondering. After Sawariya this will be yr. 2nd flop on trot.Next film sign on Sharukh. Whatever the critics say if a film doesnt make any impact at the Box Office then it will be a forgotten case. Look at Robot. still going strong. Only for the Great Rajani.Likewise Sharukh the only choice for Sanjay. Else he will be a forgotten Director.Likewise Aishwarya slowly but surely loosing her foothold at Bollywood. All her latest filns have flopped miserably. Its high time she signs a film with Sharukh. THis will creat wonders as "Devdas" did.

Far from depending on a total non-actor like Sharukh I think Sanjay Leela Bhansali deserves accolades for making films with real actors like Hritik and churning out masterpieces. The expressions of Hritik in the movie were a delightfully thrilling to watch. We are proud to have actors of his calibre who are an answer to Hollywood actors who really live their roles. Hritik is sure to sweep all the awards for this year.

Not a spent force like Shahrukh for sure. Aamir n Salman have shown him his place, at Amitabh's feet, begging to help save his izzat. Anyway, saw Guzzarish. Amazing. Sure shot block buster. Not a damp squib like My Name is Khan or Billo Barbar. Hritik is a different class alltogether.

haha.. King Kong will help Bansali? First you know King Kong himself needs help to stay in limelight, wht he can do for Bansali. Anyway, whether the movie is commercially HIT or FLOP, but I am sure Hrithik and Ash both deserves praise, and I am sure this year best actor and actress role should be going to these terrific actors.
