Fully agree with Raja Sen except for the rating, I think it should be even less, probably half a star is good enough for Mr SLB and all his immense technical knowledge but a weak storyline does not compensate for the beautiful sets and the clothing shown (Not to miss the big flower in aish's hair in every scene). Frankly there was no suffering shown but all that was shown was opulent sets and a plot that was miles away from actual life. Who the hell wants to see intricate technicalities, frame, lighting, furniture... etc etc....? Where is the plot man? A weak plot unsuccessfully presented in the cover of technique of film making. SLB lives in a world of his own and refuses to learn from his previous mistakes (Saawariya). I go to a movie to get entertained and not to learn "how to make a movie".

Yeah.. too melodramatic.I agree with Rajasen for a change..
if Raja Sen says its not good, it will be, if he says its bad, its more good and if he says its worse, then must see ..... somehow the opposite seems to be true in terms of audience reaction :)

This time we can believe him, I saw it yesterday, first half too boring, second half preachy. SOmehow it seems a drama rather than movie

Mr. Script-crazy, sometimes even the mere treatment of a particular subject makes a film rivetting.
i think our dear sanju got kicked out of a architecture and interior design college.hence to vent his frustration he makes those magnificient set to display his architectural skills..the story just happens by the way..!!!!

Why this Raja Sen confuses everyone with his English. Did anyone understand what he has written, not about English, but about the storyline of the film. This is a waste review.

Story line is simple, Rithwik was a magician now parlysed except for his head, Aish is his nurse but an abused wife, Rthwik want mercy killing, court doesnt permit, court drama 30 minutes, Aish finally tells to help him, he marries her on last day, and give us a preach, thats all.
After quite a long time saw a movie where the songs and lyrics are beautifully woven into the flow of the movie.Enjoyed the songs much better with the movie. A movie for the big screen.

btw..in this movie the end shows that the patient ended the life of negative feelings along with thought of eu as well. and took on his life as it exists rather than change or end it.
JUST IGNORE Raja Sen.....you surely would not want to miss a beautiful,emotionally stirring movie made with utmost passion,love and care.I had 8 of my friends going with me today but with a totally negative attitude towards the movie after reading all these reviews but came out mesmerised and full of praises.Hats off to SLB for making movies from his heart without bothering about box office.A great work of art and emotion. The entire starcast is awesome with a towering performance from Hritik. Poor RAJA SEN has lost the taste for good cinema - I pity him.
all posts by raja sen will get maximum hits...needless to mention that 98% of posts will be criticizing raja sen's review and his use of atrocious language...only 2% of rediff members acting as proxy raja will favour his stupid comments..
