songs may be good. but because of the hero we may have to skip watching. we do not entertain the actors who built their career on remaking.
A fabulous album from the music maverick!. HArris is back with a bang after a long hiatus.. though his score for orange the telugu movie is forgettable.. HE always reseves his best for tamil and am a kannadiga a big fan of Harris.. One could get a lot many romantic ballands here with lovely trademark harris rhythm and bass along wit some beautiful orchestration. This easily counts as one of HArris's best album in the recent times ofcourse surpassing adhavan... He is always know to bring in lovely melody and we get a lot of them here.. worth getting an original audio cd and support such wonderful music and encourage these gifted artistes to surpass their previous efforts every time, Thanks Harris for such a lovely album

Ravikrishna, why you want to mention that you are kannadiga here.It is a known fact that kannadigas, their films & musics are 3rd rated and dont have right to exist on this planet.

dear donga, don't comment on the dirt at the back of others when you have a pile behind you.
Everyone has watched the romantic tree running duets of NTR, Nagesh Rao, etc., with Sri Devi, Jaya Prada and Jaya Sudha, wherein when he thugs his foot on the ground (suppose to be step) the dust rises for nearly 3 feet when the heroine vanishes. In addition to the joker costumes, they would have been painted three inches with powder, 2 inch of lip stick (to cover up the tanned lips due to heavy smoking) and not to forget to mention the unsuitable wig on their bald head. They were super heros and these senseless and moral less teenagers boast of having teamd with these oldies. Even in Telugu, except a very few, majority of films are crime based and old wine in new bottle story line, and not fit to watch with family.
In Kannada film industry, since its very competitive world where only money has major value and majority of teens does not bother about story but want to see only the flesh of heroines, the industry has stooped so low to cater to the mass instead of churning out quaity films. Further there is dearth in good story writers, lyrist, music directors and play back singers which are the life line for a film to become hit.
Indian Film industry is not as it was in late 80s. Except for technology, its disaster and disappointment.
So dont criticize others when you are not perfect.

These days Harris music is better than Rahman, who is more leaning toward Northie style these days..except for couple of songs in VTV which where original..

whatever said..but the hero is irritating. he is known for remaking. when someone try to establish a career by remaking, the tamil audiance will not accept him.

There is no style thats restricted to a particular region. And South style isnt original of only South. Any music thats not inspired or copied from others is original.
Rahman's "Raavanan" was not original, his Endhiran was not original? Harris > Rahman? GROSS!!! Harris is very good, but Rahman even though not at his peak, still wins easily over Harris or others.

I agree that Rahman has scaled heights which Harris or any other upcoming composer has not reached yet. It does not make sense to compare Rahman and Harris at this point of time given the acheivements and popularity of Rahman. But in recent years (1-2) Harris seems to provide really good music which beats every other composer in the South. There is subtle nuances in Harris songs which you will notice if you listen closely. That being said, Rahman's vtv was really good especially two songs were really refreshing and new. Endhiran and Ravanan were good but not great I felt.
