Judges do not have a say
by amit patel on May 27, 2010 10:22 AM

The format of the show puts powers in the hands of "aam janta" as they say. Can anyone tell how much % of aam janta votes ?? Is only single vote from same source counted, or all the votes from the same source are counted ? And last, if evertything is in the hands of "aam janta", what are the three judges doing there ? Their role is finished, once they have shortlisted the top 13 or whatever they say. The format of the show is such that not always a good singer will win the show. This encourages wrong methods for winning by hook or crook. Just watch the show for some good performances by contestants. Never mind the end result.

only few singers from season 1 & 2 like vaidya n karunya were good though in indian idol the best never win..
its a junk talent show..
people who participated in other shows should not be allowed..cause new people should get a chance to sing..
its good this yr.. the northeast bombardment wont be there.. even if the singer is not talented.. like last last time

I have been trying to get an appropriate medium to express a bit of anguish. Not only this but ALL serials being aired have gone beyond being ridculous. What messages are the producers and script writers trying to convey through such audacious serials like Balika Badhu and Utran? Not to mention MORE medivial and atrocious ones like Ish desh Mein Na a aoo LadooSomething of this name), to mention a few.Over the last year or so so many killings (Naxal or Kasab) have taken place. Not even ONCE did the couch channels or the many Award nights mention or pray for any of the martyrs who laid down lives. Sad, VERY sad is all I can say. The proverbial Ostrich attitude!!!

I see singing talent shows in different languages. Indian Idol comes poorest standard-wise. Asianet's Idea Star Singer the best as far as music appreciation and rendering are concerned

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.....!!!!!!!!!!!!...u mean the same boring style of presentation for last one year....
unnecessary rounds......
funny/fake comments from judges....
most of the time the judges behave like jokers except chitra.
and the scariest part is the anchor....ranjini...wht is that actually..........
some singers are good...but one season is taking 2 years to complete....everybody is getting bored now....

please stop comparing idea star singer with indian idol or saregamapa.....
