s we r not smart as lallu ,Dr M singh .N indian r fit for nothing ,Jus eat n sleep for the whole day ...
I like Rahman's Music very much but now He forget he is popular because of singers and song writers than his music composing...He is lacking his prestige now in Indian Film industry and getting fame in Hollywood where he cannot survive for much time...See the Ravan Music...how is bad...He took complete credit of Jai HO and forget others (Singers and Writers) who involved as a team to make him Academi Award winners...Rahman days looks coming nearby to loose his fame in India...He needs to look in this side otherwise people will forget all his good work soon...

He did hog the stage by not helping Sukhwinder join him for the Oscars.....that is a fact. But then again ARR is human and a great musician...just dont call him humble etc. He is as ambitious and self promoting as the next man (not that there is anything wrong with that).

u shud know tht the award was for music director writer...oscars do not consider the singers...so sukhwinder was not there...ppl r unnecessarily blaming ARR...
people who are jealous of rahman always talk nonsense, one should have the mentality to appreciate the good.how can he survive since 1991 if his stuff is bad. infact only now he has got the accolodes which was due long back.
i also enjoyed laxmi kanth, kalyanji, shankar jaikisan,sd burman. this does not mean rahman is bad. Even they would have wonderd.

Synthesizer Rehman is another remix guru. Poor sod sources music from a dozen sources and dishes jarring numbers pulled out from a software remixer and the man calls himself a music maestro :(

i pity ur ignorance. he is d only music director in india after illayaraja of modern era who uses real instruments and creates music. he uses technology only for syncronisation and modulation.

I agree with you. Rehman is just over hyped and his music does not have melody. His music is never pleasing to the ears and always jarring and loud. Give us the talented Laxmi Pyare, SD Burman, Kalyanji Anandji, RD Burman anyday. They are the greats of Hindi Film Music.

RD ,SD and other junk music directors copied the popular western tunes on those days , and by copy I mean a literal copy which you realize now after going to USA on a H1B visa

you norties are just jelous of anything southindian achieves including your gazal singer Jagjit singh, no wonder its southies whos striving for international standards, be ISRO, formula1, narayan kartikeyan, and world chess champion viswanathan anand, but one thing you should remember no one mentioned above got any international recognision, were as rehman has bagged 2 oscars and 2 acadamy awards, which even american music composers dream of, no wonder the news channels are full of rape murder, child molestation etc from the north

Rahman is not 0% nearby to these masterios...His music mainly based on technology...even good for young folks

U said right...to mr Rjesh Khanna...who is saying Ravan music is good while nobody saying this...Ravan music is very bad for Rahman standards...

There you go Tyagi....you are contradicting yourself. You yourself grudgingly acknowledge that ARR has high standards. It is just your regional parochialism that makes some of you claim that everybody in hindi music industry is better than ARR.

Kris bro, Its not regional...I like ARR music very much too, But Ravan music is not good...its true too...see his other work...and one more thing ARR is different than old music composer like Kishor, RD etc. ARR is not nearby to those people. Rahman music is for young folks only and its 100% technology based. Its not melodius...still I love ARR music from many albums like Roja, Bombay and others...
