Tethys / cmm : Being a movie critic myself, I would like to clear out a few things. 1. How many films have you seen of late drum a different beat and reach a milestone such as the state award? Not many. And when such a film is offered by a woman director, its something to be applauded.
2. It was purely targeted at an 'A' class audience and I would say it achieved its goal. Probably it was one movie which was just not meant for you and your kind. I can understand why you're unable to appreciate it. 3. I think rediff made a mistake by allowing ALL readers to comment and flood their forum. The freedom to write probably comes to you as a rude shock and you didnt know what to pen so just put down some gibberish to gain all the attention. I dont blame you. You first timers tend to over-react. 4. Someone should definitely grab that dictionary from you. Just because you have one at your disposal, flinging random words together and making a sentence does not qualify you to become a critic. Please. We critics have a reputation to keep up. If you want, I could suggest some good critics for you to intern with. 4. I agree with you that Tamil Cinema is scaling great heights but could scale greater heights if people like you just threw the "want for more skin and action" attitude from their minds and actually watch a movie for what it is. Probably you will learn to appreciate movies once you cross your teenage.

I have already replied to Mr.Subbu and Mr.Pradeep...and dont want to get monotonous....If time permits, kindly read that to clear your misconceptions
I am writing my opinion as you are yours and if our opinion varies, that is fine but you are over-reacting by asking to curtail my freedom of speech which is not acceptable..The last time I checked India is still a functioning democracy.
I dont know which critics reputation is spoilt here as I never claimed one and on the contrary some critics (including rediff) have tore apart the movie...
Anyways, thanks for your blessings and yes I very much appreciate if you suggest those critics that I can probably intern with...
And finally, drawing parallels with Unnaipol Oruvan, I need not be a skin addict, action afficando, confused teen et all to state my opinions and give facts...I can be a COMMON MAN
